Assassins creed origins patch 1.05 pc - Free Download
Discussion in ' Video Games ' started by bananafactory , Oct 26, Mine's a shitshow after the patch. However it also introduced probably the worst stutter I have ever seen, with CPU and GPU spikes around every 2 seconds, making the whole experience pretty horrible. Then I actually go to Alexandria and the framerate hasn't improved at all and still drops down to about 45fps. What happened to this? Damnit, I took a break from playing to wait for this patch since it sounded significant, but by the sounds of it things got worse.
Dunno if I should wait for another patch to hopefully un-fuck things, or just bite the bullet and go back to playing. I'm glad I finished the game before the patch hits PC. I forgot to pull internet before opening steam, and even before it downloaded it has a mandatory patch.
Couldnt go offline without now downloading and installing patch. Even in the middle of nowhere You'll always have friends at the Grand Hotel Moderator.
Fucking hell, why did I have to buy the damn thing now? Welp, guess I'll finally play Nier Automata while this gets fixed: I guess winter sale it is. Patch fixed my CTD's and performance feels exactly the same. There's really no way to run at a constant 60 on a 4c i7. Lmao what a shitshow.. Here are some comparison screenshots between the launch and the 1. I got 4 crashes after the patch. Not a single one since release. I was thinking about picking up the pc version if I could find a good black friday deal.
Clearly I no longer need to keep an eye out. Digital Foundry V era fied. Honestly can't see a difference after 1. Mine runs worse now. I was playing locked at 30fps and it was pretty much smooth most of the time except when in a large city with lots of npc's. Now I'm getting spikes and stuttering out in the middle of nowhere with no npc's.
Crashes when switching to borderless and doesn't save the setting and crashes when alt-tabbing, and I haven't even started the game yet. Yeah the game runs WAY better for me now and it already ran pretty good. Nov 24, Last edited: I'm not sure what exactly helped, but horrible stuttering introduced with 1. Performance now is nearly perfect.
Man you guys weren't kidding about CPU usage. Bought the game yesterday so I can't comment about the previous patches performance, but after some tweaking I am able to get locked 60 at p using mostly "high" settings. My k is at 4. No changes after the patch for me thankfully.
I just bought this game and after reading through the last couple of pages I am debating on whether or not I should just request a refund. Will the performance issues be apparent right away? I don't want to play for the first two hours and have everything seem fine only for the performance issues to happen at later areas of the game.
Sucks, my setup could handle Very High at a damn fine frame rate before the patch, guess this will have to do for now. So, has the patch somehow made it worse? After playing for an hour, and running around Siwa and the surrounding area, I am getting fps drops, but that's to be expected since I only have an i5. Not seeing any stutters, or severe performance issues yet, so hopefully I'm okay to keep the game and get through it relatively painlessly.
Never mind what I said about no stutters. Hell, I even get three to four second freezes in spots. Everything was fine before this damn patch. It seems to usually happen when I first load up the game. Ah, the joys of PC tinkering lol. Hmm, well I feel dumb Just the tiniest wee little ones now, and not often. You must log in or sign up to reply here.
